Yesterday I had an appointment at the Shasta County Clerks office to take out my papers to run for Anderson City Council. I have had several people ask why I would want to do this and this is how I answer them...
I have lived in Anderson my whole life and have seen many things change, both good and bad. I want to see my community prosper and stay a good place to live and work. Safety is one of my  main concerns because without it we will be in ruins. Our tax base needs to be expanded but, in an organized and thoughtful manner.
Anderson is a city with great potential. With a strong City Council, great staff, and citizen's who want to see us move ahead, I know that we will become a place that businesses & families will want to move to!
So...first I have to gather signatures of at least 26 but not more than 40 registered voters who live in the Anderson city limits! Started doing that today... The Adventure begins!
